2025-2026 Playoff Overtime Procedures

Overtime Procedures -These are the same for ALL 10U - 18U Games

• TEAMS WILL SWITCH ENDS IN OVERTIME beginning with the first overtime period.
• In all overtime situations, the first team that scores, wins the contest.

 All Quarterfinal and Semifinal Games

• There will be a (1) minute intermission following regulation.
• The first overtime period will be (15) minutes in length and will be played (4 x 4).
• All subsequent overtimes will be (15) minutes in length and will be played (3 x 3).
• Following the second overtime there will be an ice cut.
• There will be an ice cut after every (3) overtime periods thereafter.

 All Championship Games

• There will be a (1) minute intermission following regulation.
• The first overtime period will be (15) minutes in length and will be played (5 x 5).
• All subsequent overtimes will be (15) minutes in length and will be played (4 x 4).
• Following the second overtime there will be an ice cut.
• There will be an ice cut after every (3) overtime periods thereafter.
• ***For 13U Diamond, Games 1 and 2 will use Quarterfinal and Semifinal OT procedures while Game 3 will use the Championship Game OT procedure.
