Pre-Season Set-Up

-       All GMs will be sent an Invitation Codes for each of their respective teams that have been declared in the league.

-       The Invitation Codes are used to create GameSheet Dashboard accounts allowing each team to update their rosters, including jersey #’s etc. and receive emailed copies of completed scoresheets.

-       Teams will be able to upload their official USA Hockey rosters, in the dashboard.

-       The Invitations can be used by all coaches/managers but are NOT to be shared with parents.

-       The GM will ultimately be responsible for making sure all teams in their organization are set up correctly.

-       Each GM must still send their schedule in to the league via the Google Schedule Form so the league can load all games into the GameSheet system.

Importing a Roster from USA Hockey

Using GameSheet's integration with USA Hockey, teams have the ability to import their USA Hockey approved roster directly into their GameSheet team. The process is easy and all you need to get started is your USA Hockey Team ID.

How to Import Your Team's Roster from USA Hockey on the Team Dashboard

1.    Navigate to the Roster tab and click Actions"

2.    Click "Import from USA Hockey"

3.    Paste in, or type in the USA Hockey Team ID (all CAPS for the State identifier section) and click "Start Import Process"

4.    Grab a coffee and hang tight while your roster is imported automagically from the USA Hockey Registration system.

Importing Rosters via CSV (Excel)

Team rosters are often tracked using spreadsheets. These spreadsheets can be exported/saved as CSV (comma separated value) files that, when formatted correctly, can be imported into GameSheet. This saves a great deal of time compared to entering each player individually.

Who has the ability to import a roster?

Users who have the Director, Convenor, or Manager role for the destination team(s).

How do you import a roster for a single team?

1.    Navigate to your team's roster page, either via the Season Teams page or through the team's Division. 

2.    Click the "Import From CSV" button in the top right. 

3.    Ensure your CSV file matches the expected layout and upload it to receive a preview of the import.

4.    Confirm the import to load your team's roster.
