Brooke Hubert, an Oceanside N.Y., native, is in her second season as a forward for the Oceanside High School men's team after playing two years previously at Portledge School, a prep school in Locust Valley, N.Y. Hubert is also currently a member of the Long Island Arrows U18 Diamond EJEPL Team. While playing for the Alaska All-Starts U19 team last season, Hubert's team won the Pacific State Championship. In addition, Hubert was named team captain twice during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons on her EJEPL all-star teams, and won a U16 championship in 2016-17. While playing at the Portledge School, Hubert earned the Hardest Shot Award during the 2016-17 season and the Fastest Skater Award during the 2017-18 season throughout the whole Women's Interscholastic Hockey League of Mid-Atlantic conference. A three sport athlete, Hubert also played lacrosse and softball for a season at the Portledge School, including winning a state championship in softball. Brooke is the daughter of Christian Hubert who played hockey at the Western Connecticut State University.
