The EJEPL is proud to announce a partnership with National Scouting Report, the nation’s oldest and largest college recruiting organization.
NSR, an outside organization not affiliated with the EJEPL, will help qualified hockey prospects (ages 13-over) connect with college coaches and earn scholarships. With its unparalleled 19-phase exposure program, experienced scouts and national connections, NSR has helped 95 percent of its prospects in all sports receive scholarship offers.
“NSR is thrilled to be partnering with the EJEPL,” said Gary Silvers, Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Director of Scouting for NSR. “The EJEPL is one of the most respected junior hockey leagues on the East Coast, and NSR is the nation’s most respected college recruiting organization. What a great team!”
Established in 1980, NSR consists of 200 national and international scouts, including dozens in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. NSR scouts will be attending EJEPL tournaments to evaluate potential college prospects. They also will be conducting free college recruiting seminars for parents and prospects at those tournaments.
Once a prospect is identified, an NSR scout will contact the family for a free recruiting consultation. During that meeting, the scout will interview the prospect for college coaches; teach the family about the college recruiting process; and, if the prospect qualifies, review NSR’s exposure program.
